Money Transfer
OBJECTIVE OF MONEY TRANSFER SYSTEM TO INDIA FROM ABROAD FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR DEPEDENTS
Receiving money is very simple. Sender when Deposits the money with WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER counter/ONLINE, a 10 digit MONEY TRANSFER CONTROLL NUMBER (MTCN) is given to the sender, which can be passed to the receiver and receiver can collect the same form the Payout locations (if the transaction is below INR. 50000) or by cheque (if the transaction is above INR 50000) (the transaction limit is set by RBI and can change at any given time) along with the photo I card and the address proof.
Documents valid for Photo Identity
- • 1. Passport
• 2. Drivers License (learning license not valid)
• 3. Voters I card
• 4. Pan card
• 5. Government Identity Card
Documents valid as Address Proof. (Utility bills should not be older than 6 months)

• 2. Telephone Bill
• 3. Bank Account Statement. / Bank Passbook

1. WE DO NOT CHARGE ANY TRANSCTION FEES/SERVICE CHARGE AT THE TIME OF PAYOUT
2. The receiver can receive a maximum of 12 transactions in a calendar year (JAN to DEC)
Maximum amount per transaction is Rs 120000/-
3. Payment Upto Rs50000/- can be collected in cash and from Rs.50001 to Rs.120000/- by accounts payee cheque as per name appearing in western union payout
4. For payment by cheque please bring your bank account details (advisable to carry bank passbook)
